Yet another VC rant

I have met Nitin once in a business casual setting(was not pitching). I have nothing against him personally. He was sweet. He spoke quite a bit about deep tech and how antler plans to build a large portfolio of deep tech companies. So I started following him and antler.
I dont see antler writing any cheques in the deep tech space. Their last investment was in bazaar now, a quick comm company. Nothing wrong, but why claim to be deep tech.
His latest linkedin post annoyed me a little. They claimed to back a high school student, without mentioning that the kid is sequoia's MD's son.
Nothing against the kid. He maybe brilliant and best wishes to him. But lets not pretend that any 15 year old can get funding because of "clarity of thought".
Posts like these are doing a disservice to the community by setting unrealistic expectations about fund raising
