Precog Innovation Partners is a cross-border co-creation and venture-building platform founded in 2017 and based across Gurugram and Kolkata, led by Founder and Managing Partner Sumit Dhanuka. Rather than operating as a conventional cheque-writing venture fund, Precog positions itself as a catalyst for India's Net-Zero transition, focused on decarbonising key industrial sectors. Its core themes span Net-Zero energy, mobility, building and construction, circular economy and advanced materials. The platform's distinctive model connects a network of more than 30 large Indian business groups — its 'Family Business Network' — with mission-driven global climate-technology ventures and entrepreneurial talent, fast-tracking those corporates' growth, diversification and decarbonisation goals through long-term co-creation partnerships. These collaborations can take varied forms, including strategic investments, strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, technology licensing, and manufacturing and distribution agreements. Precog works with 15-plus innovation-led ecosystems across the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, ANZ, Canada and Israel, and provides ventures with strategic access to capital, talent, distribution networks and manufacturing and supply-chain support to enter and scale in the Indian market. Its portfolio spans around 16 companies — with air-purification firm AirOK Technologies among the most notable — and it has recorded outcomes including an IPO and two acquisitions across names such as Linkker, Emuron and Climate Connect.
