Today's ecosystem pulse is strong, with AI-driven startups dominating the funding headlines as investors double down on hardware interfaces and intelligent manufacturing solutions.
Aina
$5.5M SeedAina has raised a $5.5M seed round backed by Info Edge, targeting the fast-emerging space of AI hardware interfaces. The startup focuses on enabling seamless interaction between humans and AI systems — a layer of the AI stack that remains largely unsolved at scale. This early-stage bet by Info Edge signals growing investor appetite for foundational AI infrastructure beyond software alone.
SwitchOn
$8M Pre-Series BSwitchOn has closed an $8M Pre-Series B round led by IvyCap Ventures, reinforcing its position as a key player in Physical AI for manufacturing. The startup deploys automated inspection solutions powered by artificial intelligence, serving critical manufacturing sectors worldwide. The raise underscores the accelerating demand for intelligent quality control tools as global manufacturers look to reduce defects and drive operational efficiency at scale.
Both funding rounds reflect a broader thematic shift in venture capital — moving beyond pure software plays toward AI that operates in and interacts with the physical world. Aina's focus on human-AI hardware interfaces addresses the critical last mile of AI adoption, while SwitchOn's manufacturing inspection platform tackles tangible, high-cost industrial challenges. Together, these deals illustrate that India's deep-tech and Physical AI segments are attracting serious institutional conviction, with backers like Info Edge and IvyCap Ventures placing early but meaningful bets on infrastructure that could define the next wave of the AI economy.
