Nithin Kamath (Zerodha)
AI Investment Deck CritiqueNithin Kamath has issued a stern warning to founders, labeling generic AI-focused investment decks as a "surefire way to get ignored" by serious investors. He emphasizes that startups must move beyond superficial AI integration to address critical questions regarding security risks, the specific utility of AI in their business model, and the necessity for continuous evaluation of high-stakes automated decisions.
As we look toward the remainder of the fiscal year, these updates serve as a reminder that while financial performance remains the primary barometer for public-facing entities like EaseMyTrip, the private market is increasingly prioritizing technical rigor. Founders would do well to heed Kamath’s advice: in an era where AI is becoming table stakes, the ability to articulate a defensible, secure, and value-driven strategy is what will ultimately separate the sustainable ventures from the noise. Whether it is managing bottom-line volatility or refining a pitch deck, the focus remains squarely on long-term viability and operational clarity.
