Things to remember

FAQ

Cheque size, thesis overlap, and seed versus Series A.

01Which firms can I compare?
Any two funds from the VC Dekho directory, 1,023 firms with stages, sectors, thesis, and activity. Search by firm name, then compare side by side. See the funds directory.
02What data shows in the comparison?
Fund type, partners listed on VC Dekho, stages, sectors, thesis themes, cheque size, thesis excerpt, recent activity, sample portfolio names, and links, aligned in one view.
03Do I need an account?
No. Comparison is free. Unlocking work emails still happens on each investor profile after you sign in.
04How is this different from opening two tabs?
The same firm fields are aligned in one view so stage and sector overlap is obvious without switching fund pages. Use it to shortlist who to reach out to.
05How do I compare cheque size across Indian VC funds?
Cheque size is a row in the comparison. A fund that writes a small seed cheque and a fund that leads a large Series A round should not get the same first email. If the ranges do not overlap your raise, drop one of them.
06Can I compare a seed fund with a Series A fund?
Yes. Put them side by side when you are deciding who can lead this round. Stage guides for seed and Series A explain what each round usually needs before you write.
07How do I tell if two funds share a thesis?
Read the thesis themes and the short thesis excerpt on the same row. Overlap on a label is not enough if the portfolio shows they already back a close competitor. Use the comparison to decide who to contact, not to declare a winner.
08Can I compare individual partners?
This tool compares firms. Once you pick a fund, open its profile or use outreach email to draft to a specific partner.
