FAQ

Coverage notes for Fintechs and how to widen your search.

01How complete is the portfolio data?
VC Dekho tracks portfolio companies mentioned in fund profiles and public deal coverage. Coverage is incomplete and skews toward funds and deals with public disclosure, not a full cap table view.
02Can I search by sector instead of company name?
Not yet in this tool. Browse funds by sector or stage on the directory instead.
03How is this different from the investor matcher?
The investor matcher ranks funds by your stage, sector, and cheque size. Portfolio lookup starts from a company you already know and shows which funds backed it, plus funds with similar portfolio patterns.
04Does a listing mean the fund endorses my startup?
No. This only shows that a company appears in a fund's public portfolio or deal coverage. It is a research starting point, not an introduction or an endorsement.
