What this thesis means

Accelerator and studio-linked capital comes with a program: mentors, milestones, demos, and sometimes co-building. Cheques may be smaller, but the packaging can include network access, follow-on pathways, and operating help. Studios go further — sometimes originating ideas or embedding operators.

Founders should read the trade carefully: equity for program value, time commitment, and whether the brand truly opens doors. Great programs create density and accountability; weak ones take equity for workshops.

Apply when you want structure and network as much as money. Be clear-eyed on dilution versus the acceleration you actually need.
